COVID Update  24-June-2021

COVID AND THE HORNSBY GANG SHOW UPDATE

24 June 2021

Hornsby Gang Show is entirely self-funded through revenue gained from ticket sales and other limited sources with surplus funds being invested in the following seasons performances.  We would encourage and welcome any consideration of donating your ticket purchase price, in lieu of a refund, to ensure that we can sustain Hornsby Gang Show into the future and continue to provide a unique theatre training experience to Scouts and Guides of the Sydney North Region.

The following Q & A will assist you as patrons who have already booked:

Q.WHAT IS THE CURRENT OPERATING CAPACITY OF THE THEATRE?

In accordance with the NSW Health restrictions, the Pioneer Theatre is currently operating at 50% capacity for all performance until Wednesday 30th June.  This ensures physical distancing within the auditorium and foyer of the Pioneer Theatre.  We will be contacting some ticket holders to change you seats to another show.

Q. CAN I GET A REFUND OR EXCHANGE MY TICKETS FOR ANOTHER DATE ONCE I PURCHASE MY TICKETS?

As with all ticket purchases, we recommend that you check/confirm dates and times of the performance you intend to purchase before completing the checkout on Try Booking.

If you change your mind or cannot attend your selected performance, we can arrange to change you to another one or provide a refund.

Q. WHAT HAPPENS IF TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE OR I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND HORNSNBY GANG SHOW DUE TO COVID-19?

Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for audiences, cast and the venue is of paramount importance.

  • If you are unwell, with any Covid-19 symptoms, please contact us and we will work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to ticket availability).

  • If you booked your tickets and are an interstate or international traveler and are unable to attend the performance due to travel restrictions, please contact us and we will work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability).

  • If borders shut suddenly within 7 days of your performance, we will also work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability).

  • Exchanges are subject to availability at the time of exchange and must be of equal value to the original ticket(s) purchased.

  • In those cases, if after following the above processes we are unable to facilitate an exchange for another performance, a refund will be offered.

Please note: We can only assist those who purchased their Hornsby Gang Show tickets on Try Booking, the authorised ticket seller for the Hornsby Gang Show.

Q. WILL THE THEATRE HAVE COVID-SAFE PROTOCOLS IN PLACE?

Masks are mandatory at all times in the theatre for those aged 12 and up.

The Pioneer Theatre and Hornsby gang Show will operate in accordance with its Covid Safe Plan.

COVID Update  23-June-2021

Dear Hornsby Gang Show Patrons,

We can't wait to see you at Hornsby Gang Show 2021 - Wonderstruck.

Following updates to the Public Health Orders issued by the NSW Government, as of 4.00pm Tuesday 22nd June, mask wearing is now mandatory in all indoor venues across Greater Sydney.

This will include Gang Show and will apply to any audience members, cast and crew within the venue at Pioneer Theatre with the following exemptions:

  • are children under 12 years

  • experience a physical or mental illness, condition or disability that makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable, for example a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma

All attendees aged 12 years and over, mask wearing will be mandatory as soon as you enter the Pioneer Theatre, and at all times during the pre-show, performance, and post show activities whilst inside the venue. There are minor exceptions where masks may be temporarily removed, those being:

  • eating or drinking

  • communicating with another person who is deaf or hard of hearing

  • asked to remove their mask for identity purposes

  • in an emergency situation

For attendees under 12, whilst mask wearing is not mandatory, we would encourage wearing one if comfortable to do so.

We trust that you understand the requirements are in place for public safety, and we take the health interests of our cast, crew and supportive audience seriously.

Also please note parking isn't available on site at Pioneer Theatre.  Parking options are:

  1. Castle Hill Open Air car park - on Pennant Street (3hrs free parking)

  2. Castle Towers Event Cinema's Car Park (across the road) - open until midnight (3hrs free parking till 6pm, after 6pm free parking till midnight)

We will have our HGS security team at the Open Air car park to direct you to the theatre.

Prepare to be Wonderstruck.

Regards,

The HGS Cast & Crew
